Funeral of Mrs.Glaze held Sunday Afternoon
Mrs.Cynthia Glaze, mother of Mrs.William Lambert, died Friday afternoon at the Grove Nursing home, where she had been taken about ten days ago for care. She had been in failing health for several years. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock at the Burgess Funeral Home. The Rev. A.R. Eikenberry and the Rev. Samuel Roberts conducted the service and burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Roann. Mrs.Glaze's maiden name was Cynthia Cox and she was 76 years old at death. Her husband William Glaze, died sixteen years ago and two children also preceded her in death. Five children survive, Mrs.Lambert, Mrs.Russell Frantz, of near Sidney, Mrs. Fred Searight of Logansport, Luther of Arcola, Illinois, Louis of Fort Sam Houston, Texas, one brother, Clarence Cox of Wabash, 30 grandchildren and one great grand child. -- North Manchester News Journal; Dec, 21, 1942
